Another one of the most versatile baits available on the market - the spinnerbait plays a factor in almost every fishing tournament.  This is a reaction bait of that can be fished throughout the water column, from top to bottom.  Spinnerbaits and buzzbaits work well around cover because of their semi-weedless nature.  Yes, you may lose some, but it is worth every penny.

Spinnerbaits have metal blades that spin upon retrieval.  Bass love the flash, sound and vibration.  Buzzbaits run along the top of the water while spinnerbaits swim below the surface.  When fishing for largemouth bass, the spinnerbait is a perfect choice for shallow waters.  Some smallmouth will go for smaller spinnerbaits as well. 

This bait is a wonderful choice when bass fishing with children.  Simply cast out and reel in - just fast enough to spin the blade.
