One scout pretends to be a lamp post by standing still and holding a flashlight pointed toward the ground.  Another scout is on his hands and knees, desperately looking for something under the lamp post.  Either one or a group of scouts approach him and ask what he is looking for.  He says he is looking for his lost beltloop.  This scout can elaborate about what it is and how upset he is.  The onlooker(s) asks where he lost it.  The scout says, "Over there!" and points away from the lamp post.  The onlooker(s) says, "What!?!?  Over there?!!  Then why are you looking over here?!"  The scout says very matter of factly, "Because the light is better over here!"
