Unusual
Hotdoggin'!
Google Square Ad
There is something
about a campfire that makes ordinary hotdogs taste like five star restaurant
fare. But don't you think a campfire sets the stage for something just
a little a little more exotic in your dog?
Spider Dog
Spiders
- Ack! Cut two slices down 1/3 of the hotdog in the form of an X. Turn
the dog around and do the same on the opposite end. Pierce the hotdog
through the middle and grill over the campfire. As the hotdog cooks,
the slices will begin to curl back, forming a spider on each end of
the hotdog. Fun to eat and tastey too!

Bun and Dog in One
How
many times have you been camping and realized you squashed your buns!
Next time, throw a container of refridgerator rolls in your cooler and
you will be ready to go. Open the rolls and form one into a long line
by rolling it inbetween your hands. Wrap the end around one tip of the
hotdog and pinch it to hold it in place. Then spiral the biscuit up
the hotdog, pinching on the last spiral at the other end of the hotdog.
Place the hotdog on a stick and cook over an open fire. The biscuit
will begin to rise, forming a nice "bun" around your dog.
Stuffed Hotdog
Your
stuffed hotdog is only limited to your imagination. Take a straw and
poke it into the tip of the hotdog. Slowly push it all the way through
your hotdog. Blow the hotdog out of the straw onto a plate. Take a piece
of the end and push it back in one end of the hotdog, like a plug.
Now
comes the imagination part! What would you like to stuff your hotdog
with? Catsup? Simply squirt some in the hotdog hole and plug the other
end up to prevent leakage when cooking. How about canned soft cheese?
Chili? Why don't you place a straw through a dill pickle and blow the
pickle middle from the straw. Then stuff this pickle piece into your
hotdog and cook? Bleu cheese? This is soft and can be pushed into the
hole of your hotdog. Cream cheese, pimentos, bacon bits, barbeque sauce,
hotsauce... just remember to plug each end - oh, and enjoy!
