A scout acts like a man who has died and is walking toward the pearly gates.  He can talk to himself such as, "I can't believe I'm dead!  Oh wow, look at that!  It is the pearly gates!  And I see St. Peter!"  He approaches St. Peter, who says, "Hey, it isn't your time yet!  The scout says, "Oh!  Well, I can go back to earth.  But when I DO come back, can I bring something with me?"  St. Peter says, "Well, that isn't something we normally let people do!  But since you have been so good on earth, I will let you bring one thing back."  The scout says thank you and walks away.  He goes back to earth and says, "I know what I will bring back.  I'm going to bring a suitcase full of gold with me.  Who says you can't take it with you!"

After a moment, the scout approaches heaven again - possibly with a cane and acts older.  He has a suitcase or bag in his hand.  St. Peter greets him happily and says, "Well, it IS your time now.  Welcome back!  Now I have to ask.  We have everything you could possibly want in heaven.  What did you bring from earth?"  The scout hands the bag to St. Peter.  St. Peter opens the bag, pulls out a gold brick (this is done prior to the camping trip or scout meeting - simply spray paint a brick gold).  He looks aghast and says, "Pavement!??!  You brought Pavement!?!?"
