Fire Pits

It would be nice to camp every weekend, but for many this just isn't feasible.  So why don't you make a bit of a campsite in our own backyard.  Our recommendation?  Buy yourself a fire pit or fire bowl and grab those ingredients for some s'mores.

Pictured is a clay fire bowl purchased at Lowes for $69.  This will easily hold four logs and puts off a nice amount of heat.  If you would like a step up, fire bowls can range from $100 to more than $300, including marble rails and other additions.

Once you get your fire bowl ready, prepare for company.  Every parent and child in your neighborhood will be ready to borrow a roasting stick and plenty of marshmallows.  But once your friends are gone, expect something even better.  A dark night, fireflies overhead, that amazing camp smell and some of the best family talks you've had at home.

A fire bowl may not create a complete campsite in your backyard, but it comes pretty darn close!  Enjoy!
