Corn on the Cob

Google Square Ad

Peel down the husk of your corn, keeping the husk intact on one end. Remove the silk. Soak the corn and attached husk in water, salted if you prefer. Remove from water and spread butter on the corn if you wish. Pull the husk back up over the corn. Tie it at the top with either water soaked string or a long thin piece of corn husk. Place over the coals on a grate or next to the coals of your fire. Rotate once or twice and check after 15 minutes of cooking. Let sit for a few minutes once it is done.

For a bit of extra zing, add spices to your corn before you wrap and cook it. Garlic salt, Old Bay Seasoning or simply salt and pepper can be absolutely delicious.
