We believe in privacy, whether surfing as ourselves or providing a great camping site for you. As a site with Google Adsense ads, we have been asked to describe how "the wonderful world wide web" works regarding your privacy.  (From fisherman and campers!?)

So here we go.  We never share information about you.  EVER.  The information EVERY website collects is what your IP address is (a number), what browser you are using and what pages you visited... oh, and for how long.   We use Google ads to pay for this site.  Google will collect the same data.  They will also look at whether you have Flash installed.  If you do, they know they can give you really cool Flash ads.  Not too bad!

Here are some things that relate to information collection on websites:

Log Files
Log files are collected through our host automatically.  This info includes your IP, your isp (such as AOL) and what browser you use (ex. Firefox).  The log files can tell us how long a visitor stayed on the site (and you stayed a while, right?) and what pages were of the most interest to you.  If there were any way to find out how who you are, it is beyond us!

Web Cookies and Beacons
Cookies are collected when you visit websites.  Google collects the same information listed above.  You can turn off your cookies in your web browser.  If you do this and experience problems with logging into internet accounts or forums, then you should probably turn them back on.
